I love when recipes just work. And when they come together in no time at all. And when they’re so.freakin’.perfect.
I had some leftover chocolate sauce after making my bangin’ Healthy Homemade Almond Joy recipe, and, in the name of chocolate, I had to use every last morsel of the stuff.
I scoured the apartment looking for something to coat, dip, or drizzle with my rich, refined sugar-free concoction.
I didn’t have pretzels (my fav), I didn’t have dippable fruit, and I didn’t have cookies. Sad.
I did, however, have a pile of salty peanuts and shredded coconut. Score.
And the rest, my dear, is history.
Mark and I go mad crazy over this recipe. And it’s possible that it’s just as popular in the Fooduzzi household as the Thai Peanut Burrito Bowl recipe we make every single week.
I mean, can you blame us?! With just 3 minutes and 5 ingredients, we can have a rich, chocolatey, addictive treat that perfectly satisfies any sweet tooth. Granted, they’re not the most beautiful things in the world, but you can’t taste looks! We love the flavor of these little buggers, and I know you will, too.
As I mentioned before, I use my favorite homemade chocolate as the base of this Easy Chocolate Candy recipe. I’ve introduced this recipe dozens of times, but I still am amazed that 3 simple ingredients – cocoa powder, coconut oil, and maple syrup – can create such an addictive, creamy, and healthy chocolate!
As for the add-ins, you can totally mix and match to create your perfect Easy Chocolate Candy! I adore anything chocolate-peanut butter, so peanuts were a natural choice. If you’ve been around Fooduzzi for a while, you’ll know that I love the dynamic duo that is coconut and chocolate, so adding some into my mixture wasn’t even a question. I know from experience that chopped pecans, dried fruit, almonds, and cashews make wonderful additions to these homemade candies. Have some fun with it, and make them your own!
When those trick-or-treaters come a-knockin’, have these chocolatey delights in tow. With Halloween being right around the corner, you know that I’m going to be filling the freezer with these Easy Chocolate Candies. So fun, so simple, so stinkin’ delicious.

Made 3 batches yesterday. Making 3 more today for a party. Couldn’t be easier. Rolled some in coconut for a cleaner pick-up. Both ways are delicious!
