When I was younger, taco salads were on the menu nearly every week. And nearly every week, I looked forward to diving into my carefully crafted, custom taco salad masterpiece.
A mountain of spicy ground beef, an avalanche of shredded cheese, and a pile of creamy guacamole…I think it’s clear why taco salad night in the Peduzzi household was pure heaven.

Mark and I are having an extremely productive day today. I’ll be traveling for work next week, so, on top of our normal Trader Joe’s run, I’ll be working to produce some kick-butt fall-inspired recipes to keep your hunger at bay this season. Any requests?!

I know I’m going to make some people angry with this statement, but I seriously dislike pie.
My aversion to this dessert is rooted in my total and complete hatred of crust. I know there are some die-hard crust fans out there that think it’s the best dang part of the dessert. And yes, I know there are some who believe the correct crust recipe can truly make or break a pie.
IMO, crust always breaks pie.
I might have just had some unfortunate run-ins with poorly-executed crusts, but, as of yet, I’m totally convinced that crust is always dry, crumbly, and tasteless.Read More
Ahh, Saturday morning.
Saturday morning is easily my favorite time of the week.
Waking up sans alarm clock, laying in bed until you decide to get up, lazily making a morning cup of tea…Saturday mornings are perfect.
My favorite part? Breakfast.
Not only am I totally convinced that breakfast food as a whole is completely unparalleled in the culinary world, but being able to take my time, sit down, and enjoy the start to my day with my incredible boyfriend?

I love football season.
I feel like I’m legally obligated to love the game purely based on my Pittsburgh roots. Pittsburghers eat and breathe Steeler football. The city, with the exception of the bars and restaurants, pretty much shuts down in honor of the black and gold every single Sunday.
And while the game can be incredibly entertaining, I think we can all agree that sometimes the action on the field comes second to the delicious food that accompanies it.
