Allow me tell you a story.
One day, Pittsburgh was experiencing some uncharacteristically hot weather. Alexa, out of the goodness of her own heart, decided to make and shoot a smoothie recipe so that her best friend, Mark, could drink it and get all energized and such.

As you probably know from my countless mentionings of this very phenomenon, I am graduating from college this Saturday.
Like, six days from today. I will be donning the ol’ cap-n-gown, walking across a stage while my name is called, and flipping my tassel from right to left. I truly cannot believe this part of my life is complete.
It’s interesting to look back upon the things I distinctly remember from my childhood.
Don’t get me wrong, I was a lucky kid. I always had food, toys, a bed, a roof over my head, and more; however, when I look back at my most vivid memories, I can only recall the really obscure, totally bizarre, or downright weird.

While I like to believe that I’m generally a nice person who is considerate of peoples’ likes and passions, I can honestly say that I almost always come up short on the gift giving front. I think it’s safe to assume that part of the difficulty of choosing whole foods is convenience.
Just walking to class, I pass a ton of cafes offering sugary caramel macchiatos, bigger-than-my-head-sized muffins, and cookies loaded with chocolate and candy.
